Magaya Denied Party Screening Plug-In

To help your company comply with U.S. government regulations that require verifying if entities are on the list of denied individuals or companies, Magaya Corporation offers the Magaya Denied Party Screening plug-in.

A “Denied Party” is any individual or company that has been denied exporting privileges by the U.S. government and cannot import into or export from the U.S. Failure to comply with these regulations is a violation of U.S. law and can result in fines, penalties, criminal or civil prosecution, and denial of export privileges.

The U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, updates the denied parties list regularly. The Magaya Denied Party Screening plug-in connects directly to the list to compare and verify the entities in your Magaya system.

How it Works

The Magaya Denied Party Screening plug-in screens entity names and banned countries directly from your system. It connects to the current U.S. list of denied parties and screens the entities in an export or import transaction to verify all parties before you send a transaction to U.S. Customs. Your system saves the screening results so you have a record of compliance.

This plug-in can verify more than shipments; it can screen any list of entities in your system such as customers, vendors, or carriers and vessels. It checks similar names to avoid missing an entity due to a spelling error. The verification process can be run manually at any time or scheduled to run automatically, ensuring compliance for your company.

Contact your Magaya Logistics Advisor to activate this plug-in today.
